The above service membership is applicable only if you choose outright purchase option of the Coway products. Although you could opt not to subscribe to the service membership upon expiry of the 1-year free complimentary service, you are advised against it since cessation to do the scheduled servicing could affect performance of your Coway products.
Outright Purchase or Rental?
The choice very much depends on your choice of ownership, servicing and budget.
- Ownership
Outright purchase lets you have ownership of the Coway unit immediately whilst under the rental scheme, the unit will only be yours after completing a 5 year rental period. Should you decide to terminate the rental after completing the minimum rental period of 2 years, the unit will have to be returned to Coway.
- Servicing
The outright purchase option comes with complimentary membership of 1 year. Upon expiry of the 1 year period, you are highly recommended to subscribe to membership servicing.The rental option already includes membership servicing where our friendly Coway Lady or Service Technician will provide regular servicing every 2 months throughout the entire rental period.
- Budget
Comparing outright purchase and rental options over a period of 5 years, the rental option will cost just slightly more as compared to the outright purchase option, depending on which Coway model is being considered.

Coway Reverse Osmosis Technology
R/O is a technical breakthrough initially developed by the U.S. government to provide fresh drinking water for the Navy. The Reverse Osmosis process uses waterline pressure to push raw tap water against a special semipermeable membrane.
